How did you experience the last months?

The past few months have been marked by a growing optimism in the professional sports community that the finish line of the pandemic is getting closer. More and more easing measures allowed to hold sport events with greater confidence. A great development for the entire community, which is also reflected in increasing number of orders within our anti-doping business unit. From a Berlinger Group perspective, we are running at full capacity in our Condition Monitoring business unit to serve countless countries around the globe with our award-wining monitoring solutions for the pharmaceutical industry to support the global distribution of Covid-19 vaccines.

What are the next milestones on Berlinger's roadmap?

From an overall Group perspective, we are fully committed to supporting the fight against Covid-19 with our innovative monitoring solutions and our brand new solution to increase the speed of data capturing during clinical trials. For our Anti-Doping business unit, the focus is on supporting the community with additional logistical and regulatory services allowing them to better cope with increasingly complex logistical and regulatory tasks. Another key pillar on our roadmap is DBS. Berlinger strongly believes in the potential and additional value DBS will deliver in the fight for clean sports.

Which project are you most looking forward to in the near future?

For sure DBS as it will allow to test more athletes with less invasive methods for the athletes. For Berlinger, it is a fully fletched project in which various professional disciplines and departments are involved. I am also looking forward to visiting our customers again once business travel will restart as it has been a too long time with Teams, Zoom & Co. only. Personally, I am looking forward to a family sailing holiday this summer. For many months with travel restrictions, it was impossible for the family to pursue our favorite hobby sailing in landlocked Switzerland.
