The magnetic SmartMat can be used to activate a SmartPoint. Simply place the SmartPoint in the middle of the SmartMat and wait for at least 4 seconds until the LED starts blinking. For a functional test of an activated SmartPoint swipe the SmartPoint several times across the center of the SmartMat. Flashing LED light equals that the SmartPoint is still in active mode.
